About the role
Permanent Full Time
This is a hands-on Level 2 position with added responsibility for coordinating daily operations, supporting junior staff and ensuring high service standards across the College community. This is an 80% technical and 20% leadership role, where you will thrive on solving complex IT matters whilst guiding your team to find positive solutions. You will be onsite leading the day-to-day operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery, mentoring staff and acting as the key point of contact between the College and wider support team.
Key responsibilities include:

Provide advanced Level 2 support across Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Intune, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID (Azure AD), and Windows Server environments.

Support and maintain classroom, network, and AV technologies within a school environment.

Perform user, device, and security administration through Microsoft 365 and related systems.

Provide technical assistance and system familiarity with TASS (SIS), Canvas (LMS), and Timetabler platforms.

Lead by example during daily stand-ups, prioritise tasks, and maintain service quality.

Collaborate with the College’s Level 3 and Service Delivery Manager (outsourced engineering and service team) to resolve escalations and deliver continuous improvement.
About you
You are highly organised, have excellent communications skills and have an ability to build strong relationships with a collaborative, customer service-oriented approach.
You will be required to perform variety of duties as an active, positive team member who applies a problem solving and solution outcome focus with the ability to resolve general enquires promptly and efficiently whilst striving for continuous improvement.
You will have the following mandatory requirements and experiences:

Working with Children Check. WWCC (current)

Risk of Harm, Abuse and Neglect Certificate. RRHAN-EC (current)

Relevant tertiary or certificate qualifications

3+ years of experience in Level 2, IT support, ideally in an education or managed services environment

Strong technical capability across Microsoft 365, endpoint management, and Windows infrastructure

Proven ability to take ownership and provide guidance to others

Experience supporting TASS, Canvas, and Timetabler in an educational context
